Bio

 

KRISTIN CURLEY is a Philadelphia-based Arts Administrator, PR & Marketing Manager, Dramaturg, Director and Teaching Artist, currently working as a Media Relations Associate at Villanova University and head of Marketing for the Philadelphia Women's Theatre Festival. She earned a B.A of Theatre & English at Lafayette College in 2016, and M.A in Theatre with a Certificate in Nonprofit Management at Villanova University in 2019. She is also a Freelance Photographer and Graphic Designer.

 

At Villanova, Kristin was the graduate assistant in PR & Marketing for the Department of Theatre. Kristin spent her undergraduate years performing with and serving as Vice President of the Marquis Players, and working in the box office. She is the founder of the Williams Center Fellowship, a program that provides the opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the daily operations of a performing arts venue. She then went on to manage the Box Office at Caramoor Center for Music & the Arts before deciding to pursue her masters degree. Kristin was an eight year member of the Intern Co. at Burlington County Footlighters, where she now serves on the development committee as the fundraising chair. Kristin is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Liberal Arts and Sciences Honors Society, Pi Delta Phi French Honors Society, and Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honors Society

In consort with the Marketing and Audience Services teams, facilitates and supervises all ticket sales and all public interactions with Caramoor’s ticketing interfaces (Box Office, Box Office phones, Caramoor website, etc.) Provides detailed, relevant and accurate data for the purposes of analytics, financial reporting, and other needs, via the Spektrix Audience Database. Develop and implement Active Sales strategies, focused on growing and deepening Caramoor’s audience base by launching a group sales strategy. Supervises a full seasonal staff in the office and at concerts.

Arts Management Intern (Williams Center Fellow): Develop a fellowship for future Lafayette students, help curate social media presence for the theatre, draft press releases, job shadow the director of the performance series and the director of marketing, give introductions for artists about to perform, contact artists and their managers, create and maintain a comprehensive record of events at the Williams Center, breakdown and distribute artist contracts to those it concerns.
